Slow progress on integration policies, says MIPEX study

The third edition of the Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX: www.mipex.eu), published on 28 February 2011, finds that integration policies are only improving slowly, with countries still creating as many obstacles as opportunities for immigrants to live, work, and participate in society.
Since the second MIPEX edition in 2007, the average country only increased its score by one point. Laws improved the most in Greece (+10) and Luxembourg (+8) because of major citizenship reforms. Only Greece made major reforms on access to nationality and political participation, which remains Europe's greatest weakness in integration policy...
