New academic paper uses MIPEX data to provide insights into the relationship between policies and threat perception

MIPEX data has once again been cited by academics, this time in a new paper published in the International Journal of Comparative Sociology. The paper explores the relationship between integration policies and threat perceptions following the European migration crisis and finds that "inclusive policies regarding political participation and access to nationality for immigrants are associated with lower realistic and symbolic threat."

The paper, written by David De Coninck, Giacomo Solano, Willem Joris, Bart Meuleman and Leen d’Haenens, is entitled "Integration policies and threat perceptions following the European migration crisis: New insights into the policy-threat nexus" and is available to read or download here.
