MIPEX-R cited in a new article on migration policies in ‘La Region International’

The online newspaper ‘La Region international’ has cited MIPEX-R in its recent article ‘Políticas Migratorias presenta en Barcelona "Navarra de Colores" como ejemplo de buena práctica’.

In this article, the journalist Almudena Iglesias talks about the presentation of the project ‘Navarra de Colores’, which is part of the European project REGIN (Regions for migrants and refugees integration), as an example of the good Spanish practice of integration of migrants and refugees.

The journalist refers to MIPEX-R saying that the new MIPEX-R results, which should be ready in February, will be fundamental in identifying the effectiveness of regional integration models as well as providing insight into areas of improvement for these models.

About MIPEX-R

MIPEX-R is a unique tool which measures policies to integrate migrants and beneficiaries of international protection at the regional level. MIPEX-R aims to develop specific indicators to assess integration policy outputs and outcomes at the regional level. The indicators are built through preliminary desk-research, taking origin from the highest European and international normative standards and existing indicators available in the migrant and refugee integration literature, including the Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX).
