MIPEX is cited in a recent opinion piece by Professor Beata Wojna (Tecnológico de Monterrey), in which she imagines life as an immigrant in Mexico without the language and education. Referring to MIPEX, the article states that Mexico guarantees the equality of migrants only on paper, with policies that are favorable to their integration. Moreover, whilst neighbouring countries have seen improvements in integration indicators the past five years, the same cannot be said for Mexico.
