The Mirovni inštitut – Inštitut za sodobne družbene in politične študije (Peace Institute - Institute for Contemporary Social and Political Studies) shares an article indicating that Slovenia scored 48/100 in MIIPEX's ranking. The main obstacles due to unfavorable policies appear in almost all areas of integration, with the exception of family reunification, residence and non-discrimination, where some progress has been made.
