This toolkit is designed as a guidance tool to help you use the 2019 Home Office Indicators of Integration framework, the associated Theory of Change and accompanying guidelines https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/home-officeindicators-of-integration-framework-2019. It includes example survey questions, variables and data sources to help you design project intervention and monitoring and evaluation tools. It shows how you can use these measures to collect data for a specified population, which you can then compare to data in the public domain to conduct analysis and evaluation. However, you may need to negotiate access to the data in a format that is accessible to you. National-level data may vary between devolved nations (and sometimes regions or local areas) so may influence your data collection choices. National-level data gives a template for the format of questions you can ask. This will allow you to compare the responses from your target group to wider populations. To allow international comparisons, data from international and pan-European surveys has been included where possible
